THE STUDIO

Gloci is the abbreviation of the Latin word "genius loci". The protective spirit of a place according to Roman mythology. A concept that reflects the close relationship between architecture and place throughout history, paying tribute to it at a time when economic and materialistic criteria inform all decisions.

We believe in a design that pays attention to the place in which it is implanted, dialogues with its surroundings, and consequently produces an integrated, respectful, and healthy architecture for its inhabitants and the planet. We create distinctive atmospheres. Architecture should respect the landscape, dialogue with its Genius Loci.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - ARCHITECT

Architect, graduated from the Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio.

I like to incorporate principles of industrialized construction to make architectural designs aimed at constructive and spatial flexibility. All this generates more sustainable constructions with the least possible impact on the environment.

Passionate about travel, fast food chains, indie music and Sunday paddle tennis.

Jorge Castro Marrero

CEO -ARCHITECT

Architect, graduated from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

My conception of architecture is closely linked to my passion for nature. I try to create simple architecture, in symbiosis with its surroundings, prioritizing the experience of its inhabitants, and the sustainability of the process. My goal at Gloci is to create architecture that represents the change I would like to see in construction, focused on people and the environment.

I'm passionate about surfing, pizza, productivity, country music, and endless podcasts.
